Happy Easter
Even though this was her "down" time with not as much immune system, she was able to go to Easter at her sisters house and visit people...carefully :) But it was nice to get out and have a normal holiday.

Chemo went great and fast! She was able to have her own room and able to watch movies and play her games. Was the fastest chemo yet.

Hospital...again
She woke up and had trouble breathing and called the doctor and she went straight to the hospital. she is having tests done to see what is going on. they found a clot in her leg and will be in the hospital for a few days to be monitered and given medicine.
Here she is in the hospital wearing and showing off a hat that Bria made for her :) Its keeping her head nice and warm!

My mom had trouble breathing all day and after several calls into the doctor they had her come into the clinic to have a chest CT scan. That scan revealed she has several blood clots in and around her lungs. she had to go to urgent care where they put her on many different meds to thin her blood and they told her she would go to the hospital. they changed their minds and she ended up back at home to rest instead of going to the hopsital around all the germs.

Gifts
My mom got a few gifts from various people and since I had a them all collected up I stopped by to give them to her.
She got a wonderful book from my friend Carolyn. Its a great read!
She got her head shaved today, Her hair has been really falling out and even though she still had quite a bit, it was going everywhere and it was time to just shave it off and start wearing her wig and hats. Here is how it went down...complete with fitting her wig on.
She goes to the doctor every day to get a white blood cell shot to help aid in her immune system.

She arrived at the doctors at 8am and after waiting around for her blood pressure to lower, Chemo finally began at noon. And lasted until about 5:30pm. It was uneventful and great this time (well for chemo) :)
She is feeling ok, much better then last time, and hopes that next time she can have a room for Chemo instead of being in the triage area being monitored.
Having a fun day out enjoying the last day of Cycle 1 and a gorgeous day. Went to Seattle and had lunch at Ivars. Then took a ferry to Bainbridge Island. Then went to Paulsbo for dessert and then a drive home enjoying the sunshine and the grandkids :)

She is feeling great and wanted to get out and get a wig before her next treatment starts. It was a fun time trying on different wigs.....

She is feeling great and wanted to see the boys after we have all been sick for so long. We of course went to the boys' favorite place...boats and water...aka Anthonys at Point Defiance. They love to see all the boats go by and since it was so pretty out it was a perfect thing for one of moms first outings.
Finally getting to see the grandsons after over 2 weeks of not being able to!!
Today I brought my mom her "Team Linda" Display with everyone's photo on it!! She LOVED it. she was so very touched.
Here is what she had to say..."This is so AWESOME!!!! I am so touched it is overwhelming. Thank you!!!"
